Cask at Churchkey. Golden color, 3 bubble head, not much lacing. Aroma of malt and black pepper. Taste resembles a best bitter more than a blonde, perfect for a cask ale. Dry bitter finish. Very nice. BeerandBlues2 (13196) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 27, 2012
Tap. Pours clear golden with a large, creamy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is straw and grain malt, faint esters and medium earthy hops. Flavor is medium hops, moderate bitterness, supporting malt and a creamy finish. Light body, low warmth and medium carbonation. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Cask at Paradiso Dupont. Whoa- this is very good. Poured a clear amber with a dense, buttermilk, nitro head that you could lay a penny on top of. Excellent cask, nitro, poofy, sheety lace. Aroma is full of cinnamon toast, slight lemon, floral hops, nutmeg, caramel. Taste is English cask bitter with light Fuggles and EKG hops balancing a session amber body full of caramel, cinnamon, brown sugar, citrus peels, doughy malt. Voided of residual sweetness. Dry finish. Soft, beautiful carbonation. Excellent session beer. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 10, 2010
Tap at RFD Washington. Very pale golden pour with a tight creamy white head. The nose is very light. A bit earthy with a touch of light spice as well. Sort of a light session bitter - but it’s decent. nimbleprop (8278) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 12, 2010
Nitro pour at RFD. Comes a lightly hazy, copper orange amber with a very creamy, lacing white head. Aroma is malty, lightly fruity, lightly spicy. Flavor is all malt, grains, a little bread, some light citrus, a little pepper. Medium bodied, sweet finish. Nice and sessionable.

Draft. Pours deep gold with thick, creamy white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is orange peel, spice, straw, and floral hops. Flavor is bread malt, orange peel, and light citrus hops. Medium-light body with low carbonation and warmth. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 10, 2012
Oliver’s 3 spires - ominous hazy tan-orange color, thick puffy white head. So ominous o double checked that it was pulled from right tap. Nose is light diacetyl, orange, bit of tea, heavy caramel sugar. Flavor follows, way too sweet, light tea and bark bitterness, drinks like an amber bordering ipa, massively thick with sweet cloying body. Couldn’t be more disappointed. 5% Belgian ale lightly hopped.. A joke on all of us looking for attenuation. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JUN 3, 2011
Light caramel nose with a touch of floral hops and doughy yeast. The taste is light to moderately sweet, lightly bitter with honey, caramel golden fruit and floral hops. willblake (2654) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - MAR 5, 2011
20110305 nitro pint at PSA. Good looking nitro head, light gazed golden. Earthy, woodsy aroma. Easy quaff with a soft palate but brisk bitterness to finish. Refreshing. Nickls (2523) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Cask. Bubbly minimal head, vibrant orange gold that’s mostly hazy. Fruity, malty, earthy bitterness in the aroma. Served way too warm, even for cask. Earthy, biscuit, light pear and apple meal. Medium slick body.
