On tap at Meridian Pint during CBC. GT2’s rating below is both hilarious and accurate... I was sitting there with him. A ticker I am, for sure. Red amber pour with a small fizzy khaki head. Awful diacetyl and infection issues, butter all over this, flaws abound. Lemon, tart, infected, maybe Brett, diacetyl, sourness, rancid, oxidation, you name it. No thanks. Tap at Meridian Pint for CBC thanks to drowland for ordering an Olivers beer during an A+ tap list full of other amazing beers. Pours a low haze reddish amber with yellowish, overcarbonated foam for style. Probably infected. Nose is insane diacetyl to the point of rancid butter, spoiled milk. Extremely offensive. Taste is lightly tart hinting at infection, lemon, celery seed, vegetal. Palate is lemon acidic, aerated, overcarbonated. Infection probably helps the taste and palate but the nose is rancid. radagast83 (8119) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Tap at Meridian Pint for CBC. Poured a dark amber, almost brown color with a head I didn’t see (because I didn’t get to this first). Aroma was astringent, boozy. Malts, heavy brown sugar notes round out this one. Flavor was sweet booze. Meh. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 14, 2012
draft. Hazy dark amber body, beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, orange, light rye. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, rye, some caramel. Medium body, some stickiness, light alcohol. nimbleprop (8450) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 19, 2012
