Medium Perry. Sparkling.

A youthful blend of early season perry pears. This is best served chilled. Straw bright perry with spicy, rhubarb nose that leads to a gloriously balanced rich pear tasting perry.
Perry pears from the orchards of Herefordshire, cold fermented by wild yeasts, matured and blended. Hints of hedgerow fruit and suave citrus flavors mix with pear acids and tannins to give a slightly sweetened classic sparkling perry.

Bottle. Seems like June, 2015 bottling but not completely sure. Big, juicy pear nose, caramel and butter, like a pie. Awesome. Honey and rhubarb in there too. Somewhat sweet, very fruity and fascinating pear flavors. Medium tannins, light to medium sharpness. Semi-dry and fruity with a peppery, tannic, bittering finish and citrus notes. Pale golden orange with a slight haze and lace. Very soft carbonation. Awesome. Can't believe the ratings here are so low. A truly great perry.

Draught at Hawkes Taproom, Bermondsey, Greater London. Fresh pear aroma, some acetic notes. Still, medium bodied. Dry to semi dry, slightly sharp acidity.

Polypin at GBBF. It pours clear pale greenish yellow with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet m, juicy, tangy pear, candy, fruit pie, gooseberry and some Barnyard funk. The taste is bitter - sweet, juicy, tangy, fruity, pear, white grape, gooseberry and a touch of funk with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and flat. Pretty approachable and fun.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. This one is 5%. Appearance - pale yellow, quite watery. Light fizz. Nose - sweet pears. Taste - more sweet pears. Palate - light bodied and gently tangy. Overall - it’s fairly simple but it’s agreeable.
