Cask (gravity) @ Harlequin, 108 Nursery Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire England S3 8GG.
ABV. 6.5%. Light unclear medium yellow to orange color with a average, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, sour - tart apples, wrinkled apples. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, dry dry, fresh, chicken butt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
A Sim rate (bag-in-a-box at the Southampton): Smells of surface cleaner...but maybe the ecological brand rather than the full-on Cif. Serious whisky in the flavour. Wood notes and a tang at the end that could knock your socks off....if it wasn’t 30 degrees outside and I wasn’t in flip-flops already. Good, but not sophistically balanced with the whisky flavour. leaparsons (10691) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2009

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival 6th and 7th Feb 2009 Pours a light gold with slight haze. Nice crisp appley aroma, some apple skin. Simple and tasty, good fruity and juicy apple taste. We had this down as dry in the programme but I’m quite sure that Tom Oliver said it was med/dry, good cider. A7 A4 F7 P3 OV13 3.4 downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2008
