Cask at Max’s Taphouse. Pours clear tawny with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is bourbon / whiskey with oak, vanilla, caramel and cookie malt with dates and plums. Flavor is malt dominant with medium hops and bitterness, spicy alcohol and a dry finish. Full body and medium carbonation.
