On tap at Pratt. Pours a clear amber with a thin to medium sized white head. Sweet malt, light catty notes like the IPA had, and like the IPA not bad or distracting. Toast, very easy drinking. Sweet, dark fruit notes, malt, toast, chewy malt, long bitterness, very smooth. Nice.

Tap. Pours mostly clear copper with thin, fizzy white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is straw and caramel malt, floral hops, citrus fruit, and some orange peel. Flavor is slightly more malt than hops with some light supporting fruit esters; dry finish. Light/medium body, medium carbonation, and low warmth. Not to bad, this is a pretty basic beer pouring a golden amber, nice hop flavor with no alcohol taste. Nimrod979 (212) - Hagerstown, Maryland, USA - AUG 20, 2011
Pours a clear golden color. Light floral/pine aroma. Average, not much there.
Taste is pale and crystal malts with a small hops bitterness towards the finish. Usual flavors for an English style Pale. Malty, medium body. Slightly gainy yet smooth drinkability. Finish lingers around a bit. Not quite as good as the other beer I sampled at Pratt Street, 3 Spires. radagast83 (8008) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Cask at Pizzeria Paradiso - Dupont Circle. Poured a clear dark amber color with a tiny tan head. Aroma was light earthy hops, touch of malty toffee. Flavor was a bit fruity, with a base of earthy hops. Relatively refreshing.
