On tap at Max’s, Baltimore. Thick, sludgy pour which I could almost believe has an oily consistency from the chilis. Thick head with tons of roasted malts and campfire in the nose. Big velvety mouthfeel with a nicely gritty back ened. A fine smoked porter, but I think the chiles could be more assertive to give it a bit more distinction from other entries. hypn0toad (267) - Maryland, USA - DEC 2, 2011
Love the chipotle. Very smokey. Ill talk more later, gotta go back to the bar for the moment. I like this. BeerandBlues2 (13821) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 14, 2011
Tap. Pours opaque with a small, frothy tan head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, and roast malt with light pepper notes and a smokey character. Flavor is lightly spicy peppers and smokey, dark malts with medium bitter hops and a dry finish. Full body, medium warmth and carbonation.
