Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky golden apricot color with a small foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was pine, citrus and bit of tropical fruit and honey. The flavor was bitter and dryish with notes of cardboard, pine, citrus and a touch of tropical fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Rich orange color with no head. Smells like mango and oranges. Citrusy hops. Taste is sweet with floral fruity hops. Lots of lemon. The finish is bitter and very dry. Extremely soft mouthfeel. Like eating a... blanket?

3.7
kassner (1657) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2011
had this at RFD. Listed there as a Double IPA not a pale ale but alcohol at 8% so I think it is the same. Certainly cam across as close to a double IPA with plenty of hops all around.

3.3
