Intense smoked flavours, bacon, dark, toasted malts, chocolate, light coffee. Hazy, dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More dark, toasted malts, dry chocolate, cacao, soft carbonation, medium bodied. OK Smoked, nice aroma, could do with more complexity in palate. Bottle from airport shop, Tallinn.

Arome fumée et de torréfaction. En bouche, fumée. Un porter moyen. Dommage pour le gout fumée que je n aime pas.

Light chocolate Aroma. No head. Roasting aftertaste. Low tongue buying carbonation. Smoky taste not that enjoyable.

Strong and smoked aroma announcing something interesting (well it is written on the bottle). Sadly no foam when poured. Taste is totally like the aroma, evolving from interesting to realy nice. Taste on palate stays long in mouth. Second great discovery from Estonia!

The looks of the beer are lovely. It looks like every stout should. The color is a very dark brown, almost black on the naked eye. Strong light reveals the most beautiful ruby red glow. The beer has a nice cloudiness, but it doesn’t seem entirely cloudy. But it is a bit to dark to tell. On top of the beer there is a delicious layer of rough, rather dark almond coloured foam. There is a lot of it, almost to much to fit in the glass, and foam retention is good. Love the soft touch of the foam when I take a sip. Lovely it. The smell of the beer is heaven. This is what I needed. It is a robust porter, with lovely additional smoke. Robust, yet gentle. There is a lovely malt base. The malt gives rich aroma’s of chocolate, some caramel and some coffee. There is a lovely basic burnt malt aroma to. This pairs well with the bitter and savoury smoke, that is strong, but not to strong to cover the beer aromas. There is also a nice fruity smell, red fruits and some plums, giving nice fresh sweet and slightly acidic aromas. The hops also contribute with some nice fresh bitters and a sour twist. Lovely smell. Same about the taste. Amazing...it’s rich in flavour, yet balanced. There are strong basic malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel and roasty bitterness. Again the malts pair lovely with the bitter and slightly savoury smoke. Amazing. The hops give a nice freshness. Bitter, mildly sour and fruity. Thy give a light twist, that balances the dark malts and smoke’s perfectly. It is divine. The palate of the beer is great. Full body, smooth and a nice medium carbonation that pairs well with the strong malts. The finish is lovely. It is filled with toasty malt, roasts and a nice smokey touch, together with some fresh and a bit sour hops. Amazing. One of the better porters I’ve had, I’m not disappointed. Great Estonian work.

Selline täiesti keskpärane rüübe, ei üllatanud ei aroomi, ei maitsega. Rohkem ei ostaks.
