Bottled. Hazy pale golden, rich coarse head. Zesty ginger and coriander aroma. Dry and slender, juicy with mild ginger tartness. Some citrus and licorice before a short finish with low bitterness. An unusual, but really worthwile twist on witbier.

7/XII/14 - 33cl bottle @ Sinterklaas party - BB: XI/2016 (2014-1475) Thanks to Katie and Kevin for the bottle!

cloudy milky yellowish beer, creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: overripe banana, bit rubbery, something off, weird. MF: lots of carbon, light body. Taste: pretty sourish start, chemical, lots of band-aid, glue, pretty weird and bad. Aftertaste: more of same, very unpleasant.

HOME 20131215 (33 cl bottle): A yellow coloured beer with some cloudiness and a white foam layer (good in begin, decreasing fast). The aroma is some malty (wheat-like), fruit (orange, green apple, pear, some grapefruit), spicy (somewhat coriander) and some hops. Taste is some wheat, fruit (orange and apple, some lemon), somewhat coriander. In the aftertaste somewhat sourness (mainly from the carbonization) and some bitterness. A medium body. Looks like a Belgium white beer, but a little too sour, but refreshing.

33cl. bottle from a butcher at Ax-les-Thermes. It pours a hazy yellow-golden liquid with a few tiny weird looking sediments and a gigantic pillowy durable white head that leaves some good lacing. The aroma is mild but parfumed, quite grainy and yeasty, with floral and herbal hops, wheat, spices, coriander, a distant licorice, citron (orange and lemon) and a little green apple touch. It tastes likewise, green apple more notorious this time. It is low-medium sweet, bitter and sour. In the mouth it feels a little lively, a bit watery (but doesn’t spoil it entirely), with a low-medium body and a quite dry and short finish, with an aftertaste of wheat and hops mostly. Presentation is quite nice (it lacks crown cap, though) for a differently flavoured wit worth trying.

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow colour with decent white head. Aroma offers pears and apples and almost too much acids. Flavor likewise. Rather short somewhat watery finish. Fresh.
