Drank quite a few of these on a Finnair flight between Finland and Singapore. Did the job at the time!HopfenWeisse (1557) - - MAY 22, 2012
Medium gold with sparse carbonation and a loose, creamy pad of white atop. Lightly spicy hop nose; slightly dank and vegetal with a decent breath of pale grains. Light bodied, quite tight and soft in carbonation. Delicate peppery hop and palest malt flavours dominate. A sourish edge in back, quite floral before a soft peaking bitterness. Finish is sweet/sour but rather short and crisp even as it warms. A lot cleaner on the palate than the nose. Nothing offensive here. Actually worked out to be quite refreshing, but that may have been due to long-haul exhaustion and the cabin pressure. (33cL can)

Aroma is sweetish with grain, some corn, hints of hay and honey. Stickyish palate with a feeling of starch. Flavour is sweetish and slightly stale with grain, corn, hints of honey and hay. Bulky, too stale and sweet.
Golden yellow, white head. Papery, grainy nose. Thin maltiness, slightly sweet, weak hops in the finish. Very thin body, prickly carbonation. Average watery macrolager.
