568 ml can from K, Kilpisjärvi.
The can is one of the more crazy designs I’ve seen so far,
and Wagner is the pig’s name, a figure from a finnish comic book.
Pours a small head on a gold golden body with high bubbly carbonation.
Scents of hops, flowers, and some sweet malts. I almost felt a bee humming by.
Taste is mild, with sweet malts and hops, some bread, and the buzy carbonation.
Mouthfeel is mild, and it is a little watery, but the water seems to be of good clean quality.
Aftertaste of grass, bread, flower, hops, and it is rather short.
The colour is golden, not pale, which I guess is the reason why it is classed premium lager. Funny n fresh! bierkoning (13670) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2013
Can from Tbone, thanks! Pale golden color. Vague apple and grain aroma and flavor. Hint of metal. Not good. omhper (25713) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 25, 2012
Canned, thanks oh6gdx! Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Faint citrus and soap behinf the boiled vegetables in the nose. Sweetish with light body and clean mouthfeel. Slight orange and sugar. Low bitterness. Unusually tolerable Finnish macro lager. Marduk (8361) - Reval, ESTONIA - NOV 15, 2012
568ml can (shared by FatPhil, thanks). Clinically clear golden color. Medium white head, stays. No much of aroma. Malty, strange bitterness (rye?), watery, metallic flavor. Very watery. FatPhil (17062) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 14, 2012
568ml can (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Pretty standard Finnish pale lager aroma, a little spicy, almost a hint of ginger once or twice. Fairly full for a pale lager, sweetish softness, but fizzy carbonation. Quite hoppy, but very chemical metallic hops, nothing full or aromatic. Finish is mostly the hops. It’s perfumey, but only in the tongue-scraping way that drinking perfume would be. So Anna tells me.
