Amber red clear body, fawn modest head, lacing. Aroma; berries, smoke, tar, malts, juniper, fruits. Taste; red apples, juniper, smoke, tar, roasted sweet caramel malts, wood. Finishes with tar, darkened malts, dusty hops. Feels okay. Overall tasty, and not too smoked fortunately. Therefore well balanced. Aroma isn’t that prominent, but there’s a small pillar of smoke like from a frying pan rising from the glass. The taste is at first smooth and round, but rather quickly transforms into a sensation of licking the meat counter over at the grocery store, and that’s not my thing. I have no need of saying bad things about the beer or brewery, cause I guess it is supposed to taste like this? So... drain pour... If you like smoked beers, you’d probably love this one, I didn’t

FunkyF (1290) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2014
Flaska från SB. Mörkt brunröd med minimalt med beige skum. Söt rökig doft. Lätt rökig i smaken viss beska. Ok men inte så spännande.

BMA (276) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2014
Beer should have a head, this doesn’t. Dark amber color. Low carbonated. Looks thin. Aroma of smoked sausage. Smokey taste. Medium body. Ugly label gives it extra minus.

NallePalle (683) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - DEC 1, 2014
Bottle, 33 cl. Indeed smokey, but still balanced and overall nice features.

Vighals (4337) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - NOV 22, 2014
Rødbrun klar med lavt beige skum. Syrlige bær og epler, lett karamell og honning. Syrlig og bitter smak med fin bærsødme. Bittersøt ettersmak

markextrae (4460) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - AUG 22, 2014
bottle at home. thanks to cunningham! amber / dark red colour with a non lasting off head. lot’s of cinnamon, gingerbread, raisins, weak hint of smoke, spices, caramel, figs, long lasting spiced aftertaste. can’t finish this.

VictorStr (1740) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2014
Rökiga öl brukar vara långt nere på min lista men denna var mildare och mer balanserad än de andra jag smakat.

czar (9334) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 26, 2014
bottle shared by albatross, thanks dude. pours clear golden orange with a very small and disappearing off-whtie head, no lacing per say. apple juice, some caramel and lean if not shy fruitiness, honey sweetness, grass, bitter herbs, faint if not absent smoke, touch of pepper and few other spices, cardboard. moderate carbonation, light body - almost watery, dry grassy-herbal finish. this may be an old bottle too - no date on bottle. either icelandic insomnia has hit me or this is not a smoked beer, nor a bock, nor a smoked bock. meh. DP.

Dazz3 (1798) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - FEB 24, 2014
Bottled. Pours copper with a big light brown head. Smells and tastes spicy hoppy, candy malt, pumpkin, a bit bread malty with a similar finish.
