Draught at Sorbon, Stockholm. Clear nut bron, creamy head. Heavily smokey nose with light fruityness. Rather dry and craelly with well sized rounded body. The smoke is more subdued in the flavour, but there’s licrice and beechwood there. Finihes with mild trry bitterness. Solid and interesting. 2009 bottle at The Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, Sweden. Staff recommendation, and a good one. Dark cloudy brown. Aroma of campfire and burnt toffee. Taste is like a perfect scotch. Nice stuff. fiulijn (20370) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 29, 2011
Dark color, between dark amber and brown; small sized head. It has a mild aroma of caramel, paper and bark. Smooth mouthfeel; the body is correctly structured; pleasant caramel flavor, but without the elegance and strength of German beers; light smoke trace; the final shows a bit more of dark caramel. Pleasant, balanced, smooth, but not exciting.
