330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on December 15. Pours deep amber with a fizzy cappuccino coloured head that leaves some trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty sweet with wood, grass, sweet grapes and subtle hints of smoke. Taste is sweet and smokey with peat, wood, tar, caramel, orange zest, cloves and hints of anise. Finish is rather bitter with a nice, not too intruding, smokiness. Nice and balanced! MikeKeller (951) - Kemi, FINLAND - DEC 23, 2011
Botle from Systembolaget. Clear, beautiful reddish brown beer with brown head. Caramelly malty aroma has some smoke too. Taste is quite sweet malty with yet again some smoky tones. Some berry flavour detectable aswell. Oily mouthfeel. A bit one-dimensional brew and there could be more smoke in the mix. VsXsV (4442) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 25, 2011
33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, amber liquid with medium tan head. Aroma is smoked with notes of charkuteries, caramel and bready/biscuity malt. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter with notes of smoke and sweet malt. Medium bodied with OK carbonation. One of the better beers to go with Swedish Christmas foods. The smoke plays well against the ham and the meatballs. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2011
