One of Ölvisholts best. Roasted malts resulting in a slight caramel with some dried fruits.

Bottle, 1919 lounge, Reykjavík. Amber red ale with white head, good lace. Nose is sweet, caramel malt. Mouth has some freshness with the caramel maltiness. Some apple skin. Palate is sweeter and lasting. Pretty ok. ---via BeerBuddy

3fourths (9332) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 6, 2013
An American-hopped red ale with an aroma and flavor of cara malt, gum, cedar, red apple and fruit candies. Medium body, moderate bitterness and medium to high sweetness with a lot of residual sugars suggest it’s not fully attenuated (also noticed in the latest batch of Lava). Lightly hazed amber, from bottle best by August 2014 at K Bar in Reykjavik.

3.3
BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 14, 2013
33cl, exclusive Icelandic brew, thx alot to Tom for bringing this over!, complex brew, malty/sweet and slightly spicy/bitter, balanced, clear, small head, nice brew
