JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2011
Amber with poor head. Smells sweet of malts, spices, and a touch of bread and coffee. Taste is very similiar, body is light to medium. Some floral fruityness from the hops, but not enough bitterness to balance out the sweetness.

Bottle. Gift from Pinball. It pours hazy reddish amber with a medium off white head. The aroma is sweet caramel with notes of fruity hops and yeast. Quite fruity flavour with notes of caramel, malt and some peach. Sweet finish.

Erpur (1) - Vestmannaeyjar, ICELAND - JAN 7, 2011 does not count
This medium body beer is joyfully extravagant and sligtly sweet. Caramel-nutsy in malt, strongly bitter and florally hoppy. A lot of hops here, American origin in part. (Cascade?). Fun beer.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2010
Lovely fruity beer, though I wonder why they serve this from a frosed glass. Cherries, malt, a pleasant hoppy bitterness to balance. Nice stuff.

gbe75 (134) - ICELAND - SEP 19, 2010
A great red ale from Ölvisholt Brugghús. It will be interesting to taste the beer on tab, but until now it has only be available in bottles. Really tasty well-bodied ale.

Geiserich (4493) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 30, 2010
Bottle: Reddish amber color, creamy off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with lots of cascade hops. Also fuity malty and light sweet notes. Flavor is malty, hints of caramel, light sweetness and a good amount of fruity, lemonlike and medium bitter hops. Medium bitter, dry and hoppy end. Long finish. An amazing surprise from Iceland.
