lbianchi66 (417) - FRANCE - AUG 2, 2017

Bottle at the hotel, Reykjavik. Aroma of toasted malt, lots of caramel, red berries, soft herbal note, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Slightly sticky. Heavier than you?d expect for the ABV. Good Red Ale.

johndoughty (5521) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2015
Bottle at 73, Reykjavik. Lovely malty flavour-stong but not overpowering. Incredibly well balanced and a very well crafted beer. Worth to trip to Iceland alone and one of the most impressive beers I have tried in 2015 ( so far ) A must try.

larsga (7625) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 21, 2015
Small offwhite head. Clear red body. Grainy fruity caramelly aroma. Sweet fruity caramelly taste with grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Sweetish grainy caramelly earthy aftertaste with floral notes. Nice, drinkable. (0.33l bottle at Svarta Kaffid, Reykjavik.)
