Clear pale yellow/straw colored beer with a white head. Nose is insanely lemony. Some straw, grass, and mild bread. Kind of grainy with a candy sweetness. Tastes of water, grass, lemon, and candy. Light bread and grain flavors. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Tap at the rebranded Cucamonga Brewing Co as "Route 66 Honey Blonde" listed at 4.8%. Clear golden. Little head and no lace. Nose and taste are 100% diacetyl. Big butter bomb. Should have been a dumped batch. l1br4r14n (451) - Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
A macro brewed at a micro. Clear, pale straw color. Minimal aroma and flavor of grain, bitter finish. Very thin mouthfeel. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - APR 23, 2011
Sample at the brewery. Rating #10. Medium yellow/gold pour with a nice white head. Light grain aroma and a slight sweetness, pretty clean. Sweet flavor as well, light body, picked up some honey as well. Not bad, just a little too sweet for me. (1663) joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - APR 14, 2011
On tap at the brewery now called Route 66 Blonde Ale. The pour is pale yellow with almost no head. The aroma is strong with honey and some milder notes of berries and bread. The flavor is not as good as the aroma with some honey, bread, crackery malt, and a weak hop finish. Pretty ordinary.

On tap at the brewpub a while back. Named something else now. Color was a dark gold. Aroma of bread, wheat and honey. Flavor was ok and easy to drink. Wheat, honey and slightly sweet. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUN 22, 2009
On tap at the brewpub as Route 66 Blonde: Pours a clear pale golden with a small-bubbled frothy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet grainy pale malt and a touch of noble hops. Body starts with decent fullness for the style and a light malty sweetness giving way to a more astringent crisp bitter finish. A pretty standard blonde ale. Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear golden color with a top ring of lacing and spots underneath. Spotty lacing on the glass. Mild hops, grass and corn aroma. Light-bodied with hops and grainy malt flavors. The finish is short with lightly bitter hops aftertaste. Standard stuff all around. User57106 (246) - - FEB 4, 2008
On tap at brewery, 02/04/08. Clear, light yellow with lots of active bubbles, even in a taster glass. Nice little head. Honey notes in aroma along with floral hops. Sweet malt, citrus, lemongrass flavors. Inoffensive corn in aftertaste. Not bitter at all. If you’re going to do a golden/blonde ale, it ought to be like this, though it might use a touch more hops for bittering. jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 15, 2008
on tap-pours a white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is crisp grain. Taste is crisp grain-some sweet, spicy/metallic hops bite (saaz?). Brewer usually uses saaz this batch Perle. Ok carbonation.
