Bottle. Pours a reddish amber color with white head. Malty, caramel aromas. Caramel, malty, bready flavors. Not very exciting.
Dark amber color with a thin lid of off-white bubbles. Spicy caramel scents. Lightly toasted malt and touch of light pepper in the flavors. Pretty much an Irish Red ale. While not exciting, quite true to form. 1/11

12 oz can is pretty awesome looking. Pours hazy amber with no head retention. Oxidized, flat and bland. BVery (10312) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - AUG 12, 2015
12 oz can. Yikes, this is pretty bad. Fairly good looking rich amber pour with a clingy head. Smells and tastes dirty. Sweet and stale caramel malts, earth, dry - meh. Drain pour. AnokaBrewer (201) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - JUL 22, 2015
Amber in color. Not much aroma. Light drinkable beer. Nicely carbonated. I had this on tap as part of a flight. theisti (4113) - Kansas, USA - JAN 20, 2015
Plastic glass draft at Snow Creek ski resort in Weston, Missouri. The pour is a clear brown copper with a 1/2 inch frothy light tan head. The aroma is apple fruit sweet, caramel malt and some floral in the back. The taste is sweet green apple fruit, light malt caramel behind that and not too much else. The palate is light to medium bodied with active coarse carbonation. A bit flat in the finish. The beer was somewhat unclean as it warmed.

On tap. Tan-amber. A-some caramel/cocoa-med malt. T-follows with some hop bite. Stevesie (336) - - JAN 10, 2014
From bottle. Attractive out of the bottle--a nice, deep red with slight off-white head, turns to crap shortly thereafter. Smells like chocolate and wet dog. Decent body and a pleasant enough start. Something goes terribly wrong in the back half--metallic with a dirty, chocolate aftertaste. Poor representation of the style. Bif (2235) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - DEC 18, 2013
Pours a dark amber color with a small head that fades quickly. Aroma of caramel, malt and grain. taste follows with malt, caramel, grain and bit of spice. Mild bitterness and fairly clean finish. Moderate body, lightly carbonated and has a bit of earthiness about it. Reminds me of a typical British style beer that goes well with sporting activities (soccer). Pour is amber with a off white head..Nose is caramel, grains, hay, light sweetness...Taste is caramel, spice, grains, mustyness... Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Amber pour with a white head. The aroma has some grain notes and not too much else. The flavor is also heavy on the grain and yeast notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
