A delicious nod to the Emerald Isle this smooth light lager is sure to please. Easy to drink yet well-hopped with a distinct malt flavor to keep the palate busy.

12 oz bottle pours a clear gold with a quickly disappating white head. Odd aroma that I can quite pin down. Metallic ? Flavor is sharp on the tongue with a really funky aftertaste. Not a real pleasant experience.

12 oz bottle. Pours very light straw wiith a domestic head. The aroma was very distinct in a not so good way. My sister-in-law said that it tastes like water that had shrimp boiled in it. This was one of the worst beers that I have ever had and definately would not buy again. It’s too bad it was in a mix pack because the other two beers were pretty decent.

This beer has an odd vegetal quality to it. One poster describe a bell pepper quality but I’d don’t think that’s it. Earth and spice- I’d probably like this better except for that odd aftertaste. Otherwise it’s OK for a pale lager.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2008 On tap @ ’06 Power Plant Microbrew fest Nice clarity. Earthy/herbal hops aroma. Nice flavor, earthy hops and nice maltiness. Clean finish. I found this to be a very nice example of the style.

I had a chance to try a bottle of this at a KCBM meeting. Infected big time. Score is for the draft version. Such a nice beer on tap...

On tap at the 2007 Parkville Microbrew Festival. Pours slightly opaque gold with a thin white head. Seems very fine and delicate. There’s not much here. A nice low hop tartness to the finish. Has a good mouthfeel. Thin quick and fizzy ending. Not bad, just not good either. I’ll pass on this one.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2008 On Tap at O’Malley’s pub. Pale gold pour with a not very big white head. Aroma was straight forward, nothing really jumped out. Taste had a bit more complexity than I was expecting, some nice spiciness. Overall, nice drinkable beer.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2008 Had this bottled recently, over carbonated. On tap at O’Malley’s pub. This was a pale gold with body with a thin white head. The aroma was the expected bell peppers and potatoes with some earthy notes. However, while sitting 55 feet underground it is hard ot tell how much of that smell is ambient or from the beer. The taste was spicy bell peppers along with some light notes of potatoes. A decent earthy note in the finish. Good for the style.
