A delicious nod to the Emerald Isle this smooth light lager is sure to please. Easy to drink yet well-hopped with a distinct malt flavor to keep the palate busy.

From Strykzone via a trade. From the 12 oz bottle this lager poured yellow with small white head and little lacing. Nose of malts and some grassy hops. Light body and not much in the mouthfeel. Flavor is malts and lager, but overall this is pretty bland. Drinkable. Just.

This lager has some cloudiness and is the color of honey. The off white head is a little bigger than a finger and it lasts a couple of minutes. The aroma is light malt with some honey. Feel has some decent zing. This beer has some dry hops and some soft malt up front. That soon fades leaving some honey. Soon, even that fades and the beer gets watery. It is unfortunate the beer couldn’t maintain the front end.

Draught at the brewery. Yup, another pale lager for the pile. Enough character to make it tasty but nothing really exciting. Refreshing and better than the mass produced lagers out there but just not a lot going on here.

(bottle) dark yellow with small white head. Faint malt aroma. Mild lager malt flavor. Middle of the road lager.

Pour is a dark yellow with a small white head. Aroma is almost nothing. Maybe some grain. Flavor is a little more grain heavy but still weak and watery with no hop presence.

Bottle and tap at brewery. Golden pour. little white head. Not much taste or aroma, just some hops. It was alright.

Bottle. Pours a yellow color with a little white head. Very smooth. Almost a watery taste. Not a whole lot of aromas coming through, maybe a few malts. Not a whole lot here.

Pours a pale yellow with lots of "floaties" dancing amongst the rapidly rising bubbles and a loose, fizzy, white head that actually hangs around a bit. I’ve never seen another lager with sediment floating in it. The aroma is a muted, dusty blend of light, sour citrus, herbs and faint bread dough. Light, effervescent and quite tart, it finishes drier than any other pale lager that I’ve ever sampled. The flavor is more of the tart, sour, citrus and a light plastic note in the background. I have to believe that this bottle is infected, because it tastes more like a light Berliner weiss (minus the wiess) than a pale lager. If so, I think it may actually be benefiting from the affliction (based upon the other reviews on this page). These guys apparently have some serious bottling issues. I’ve tried 4 of their bottled beers and 3 of them have shown signs of infection.
