From bottle, pours a clear red brown, little head. This is one of the few IPA's I prefer properly and fully chilled...not a compliment. Still, it's a solid brew with a nice taste and body. Would prefer a higher IBU, but still glad I bought a sixer.

Backlogged rating thanks to some kind and generous soul. The smell is pine, fruits, caramel, and cardboard. The look is deep, golden in color, and has a white head. The taste is malts, grains, pine, bitter, and ok. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 23, 2014
12oz bottle, from Lukas in Missouri. Clear amber color. Thin off-white kind of bubbly head, dots of lace. Looks good. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick. Caramel malt, light spicy. Good resiny hop. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Really smooth and easy drinking. Solid balanced IPA. Underrated. Friends I shared it with like it. Bought a single bottle, since my other Weston experiences have been dreadful. Dark copper pour with a finger of head that dissipates quickly. Very attractive. Metallic nose with some bread malt and raw beef. A little thin and no trace of hops (perhaps old). Gamey finish and the aftertaste of a busted lip. Does a good job of concealing the 7.5%. bottle into glass, clear red pour with white head, aroma is sour fruit, and som malts, taste is so so, nothing special sethdude (706) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 24, 2013
Pours amber-red with a thin head and good lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel, easy citrus, and a faint cheddar. Flavor is Clean, caramel hops blend very well with the medium-toast notes, as well as some peppery hops. Grapefruit or citric notes are distinctly absent. This is a more traditional version of this style, and a welcome departure from the usual.

6/17/2010: Weston Brew Labs No. 1... Aroma: Floral, slightly sopay or maybe more like mineral-like characteristic; subdued. Appearance: Deep gold color; transparent complexion; 2-finger foamy ivory-colored head; long-lasting head and lacing. Flavor: Very SOFT; floral and lots of mineral characteristics; raw bitterness ad dry finish; good bitterness level overall; very subtle smokiness. Palate: Medium body; soft and airy mouthfeel. Overall: Reminds me of a British Pub Bitter/Pale Ale.
1 pint, 6 fluid ounce bottle (OG 1.067; IBUs 89; SRM 11; Alc. 7.6% by Vol.) shared by alexsdad06. Thanks Brad! Rating #58 for this beer.
Moving out of KS rate-a-poolza. 12oz bottle poured into an Ommegang tulip. Not fresh but put of a fridge in a store. This beer pours a dark amber color with a medium sized head. When fresh this beer was nicely hoppy but as its aged in the fridge the hops have died down and its a dusty malt brew now. So, fresh this was nice but now not so much. Some extra points for my memory of it fresh. jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Bottle from Goebel Liquor Wichita KS, yea no thanks it smells fair and malty but tastes a touch of hops, cool bottle art though so its got that going for it. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Bottle. Pours a dark golden color with white head. Light bready, tea aromas. Bready, light grassy hops, and grainy flavors. IPA? Really? Very weak IPA.
