Clean and sharp golden yellow pour with one finger of off white head. Subtle malty notes in the nose with a light sweetness. Delicate spicy hops with a light sweetness and metallic character in the flavor. Light medium body.
bottled (purchased in Charlotte NC) - clear golden color. Sweet aroma. Sweet malty flavor. GTAEgeek (2343) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAR 27, 2015
Sample in a flight at the OMB biergarten. Hazy orange color, with a small, creamy, beige, head. The nose is ripe apples, honey, lots of cloves, juniper and pine hops, light butterscotch, and a touch of biscuit dough. Sweet and fruity, with a light bitterness. Medium body, creamy and smooth, with a crisp, clean finish. This is a very complex, yet drinkable beer. Great yeast character, and a wonderful mouthfeel. Draft. Clear golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of light white pepper and hay. Taste is lightly spiced straw. OK. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2014
Pours light amber, basically translucent. No head. Taste begins nice, malt sweetness and quickly fades to cardboard, astringency, no. This is just wrong. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2014
On tap at Maxwell’s. Yellow colored pour, white head, fruity malty aroma. Taste is smooth, fruity, kind of hoppy, but not very refreshing. Did not taste the way I figured it would. Probably not something I will get again.

On tap at Carolina Beer Company in the Charlotte airport. Pours clear gold with a white head that disappears quickly, leaving a bit of lacing. Malty, bready with some grass. That carries over into the taste, but there’s some really nice fruit and sweetness that comes through. Medium mouth. First of this style for me, so maybe I’m over-estimating this one, but it’s really nice. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 29, 2014
