Tap @ Carolina Beer Co. Light amber with a cream white head. Attractive. Nose is a bit off-putting. Unwashed old dish towel with a bit of candy corn and caramel-dipped apples. Bread. Taste is more palatable. Sweet bread, sugar. Mellow straw dryness on the finish. Light body, soft carb. OK. ben4321 (6668) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 28, 2014

Aroma: The nose is light caramel and bready malts, some grainy notes, and mild hops
Appearance: This one appears amber in color, some golden notes, with an off-white head on top
Flavor: The taste is mid-sweet, not overly sweet, bread/grains with a light balancing hop bitter
Palate: The body is light-medium, fairly easy drinking, with a mid-plus carbonation
I had a few of these on draft over the "season," with pretty much all of those being in the airport. It always left me the same impression, which is that it is not bad for OMB, and it is probably better than their flagship copper that you find everywhere, but it isn’t anything exciting. (Note: I have the copper rated as a 3.3, but that is from 2012, and I haven’t felt the same about it when I’ve had it recently. It probably needs a re-rate, and I’d probably have it more in the high 2s to 3 range if I rated it today.)
Pint at CLT airport. Clear topaz with a small ring of bubbles. Nose is at first sour, then lightly toasted grain and caramel. Taste is sweet toasted grain and just a touch of dry grass and sour apple. Light body is well balanced and has light carbonation. ChainGangGuy (4919) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 17, 2010
Appearance: Dispensed a clear, darkened amber-gold body with a spumed, off-white head.
Smell: Toasted whole-grain bread and a fragrance of spicy noble German hops above some lighter crackery tones and far-off traces of sweet-scented caramel.
Taste: Maltiness of moderately toasted bread given a touch of sweet caramel, maybe even a hint of honey as well. Spicy, floral German hops, lightly bitter and more than enough to balance things out. Soft, faint fruitiness. Drying finish with a delicate mix of spicy hops and maltiness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Very drinkable. A clean, satisfying O-fest. Keep up the good German work, OMB. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Draught at the airport. Pours a lighter amber color with a moderate white head. Some grains and maltiness to the nose of this, with both some of the malty bitterness and a hint of sweetness to the taste.
