MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 11, 2013
Aroma: It has a fairly light nose of pilsner malt and cracker, some earthy notes, a bit of corn
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a pretty decent sized white head on top
Flavor: The taste is light and malty, kind of thin, but not bad, light bitterness, mild adjunct flavor
Palate: It has a fairly light body, mildly thin, not as a crisp/clean as I prefer in this style
I thought this was only an okay pilsner. It doesn’t hit the marks of the best in the style, and it has some mild adjunct type of flavors that make it less enjoyable than it could have been otherwise. Drinkable, but not any better than that.
Sample @ GABF 13. Clear golden pour, thin white head. Aroma is rather skunky, malty and grainy. Flavour is very thin, not so bitter as other pilseners. Very short finish, watery mouthfeel. Not impressive. IrishBoy (4252) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 24, 2012
Bomber from Ross. Nose is a little grassy hops and caramel sweetness. Clear yellow with a big pale yellow head. Flavor is very light grassy bitterness with some moderate sweetness and caramel. TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - DEC 1, 2012
22oz bottle from beer study. Bottled 11.16.12. Pours a fairly clear yellow straw color with light carbonation and minimal white lace. Nose is toast, biscuit, cereal, light grass, plastics, diacetyl, grainy. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet--some cereal and light vegetal notes, two day old mowed grass, and ends sweet with spoiled veggies and oaky Granny Smith apples. Diacetyl comes on heavier as it warms and breathes a bit. Too bad. Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - NOV 5, 2011

Serving: Draft at Texacali Taco & Tequila Bar. It pours a solid yellow color with a small white head. The nose has a whiff of diacetyl and grain. The flavor is butter, metal, grain, and a hint of grass. Thin bodied with higher carbonation. Reminds me of a cream ale and a bad one at that.
