I like this! Pours a dark yellow with a white head that disappears too soon. A slight haze still shows good carbonation. Aroma is faint but nice. Good hop flavors, bitter, pleasant. Nice mouth feel. Good aftertaste. Very good beer! BillKismet (4041) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 8, 2013
Light copper-blonde color with light silken, froth head that thinly coats the glass. Lively, crisp German-accented grain nose. The body, although simple and approachable, sports a lovely, honeyed grain mix with a finish this at a once sweet and dry. Dogbrick (12918) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Sample at the Stock Car Cafe at CLT. Pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium foamy white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly bitter floral hops, bready malt and a touch of fruit. The finish is lightly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall. Draft sample at the 9th Annual Summertime Brews Festival, Greensboro, 7/13/13. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of herbal, spicy hops and caramel malts. The taste is caramel, herbal and spicy hops. Medium bodied, very clean. DiarmaidBHK (4785) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 19, 2013
Draft at Flying Saucer Charlotte. Pours golden with a thin white head. Leaves trace lacing. Slight malt note on the nose. A little bit of floral on the tongue. Finishes clean. A little boring for a pale ale.

Pours out a slight orange golden color with a small head. Mild aroma of just a hint of hops and a touch of sweetness. Hops were mostly that dank musky smell that I think of Saaz hops having. Upon sipping the beer is slighly sweet of caramel but then finishes lightly spicy and bitter. This was an ok pale ale, I would have liked the finish to be a bit cleaner. thornecb (5878) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Pours deep amber into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sour caramel and rye front to back. Travlr (24292) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Draft at the source. Hazy golden yellow color, white edge head. Aroma of flowers and grass. Taste is bitter and lager like. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - JUN 28, 2012
(tap) golden-copper with a bit of floral hop aroma. Flavor was bready malt, some floral hops, metallic finish. sloshgator (741) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Slight aroma. Nice amber appearance but thin head. Delicate hop flavors with light bitterness. Enjoyable but not exceptionable.
