COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Omission IPA is a bright, hop forward Northwest Style IPA produced in the spirit of the original IPAs shipped from the UK to India in the late 1800s. The heavy-handed use of Cascade and Summit hops give it notable pine, citrus, and grapefruit aromas and flavors. The bitterness is what you would expect of a NW IPA but this beer is balanced and smooth due to the perfect level of malt sweetness. The finish is crisp, clean, and refreshing its a true IPA lovers IPA.

Bottle pours a fairly clear yellow with a one finger white head and good lacing. Aroma is a very familiar northwest hop scent of primarily pine, citrus, sauteed mushrooms, and grapefruit. Flavor is a not so sweet citrus, maybe a touch on the boring side but not bad at all for gluten free. The bitterness is a nice medium and the aftertaste is a gently fading bitter citrus.

best of the Omission beers, but thats not saying much. An odd flavored bitterly hoppy ipa. Not terribly fresh, which might be part of the problem, but definitely a one timer.

Bottle. Hazy dark yellow with large foamy whitish head, floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter piney taste, thin body, long hoppy finish. A bit tasteless, but not really bad.

More boring than foul. Light citrus without much grain. Golden pour. Actually drinkable, which is something. Bottle at Summerfest.

Golden pour, white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, sweet. This beer is much better then some of their others. A good backbone, nice hops, wet finish. Pleasently surprised.

Bottle shared at the beach. Clear caramel golden with thin white head. Caramel, rye, honey, herbs. Light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, fat slick feel, light carbonation. Bit stale leathery finish.

Light straw copper with a thin head. Nose is almost like rye, with some pine a bit of cat piss. Inoffensive, but underwhelming in the taste department. Some pine and a little green tea. Light and clean mouthfeel with a short and slightly bitter finish.

This is a good IPA, especially for a gluten free beer! Nice and hoppy. Still light though.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/7/2015. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate malt notes; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice gluten free IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. The hops werent as vibrant as I was hoping, but still had nice overall character/complexity. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours clear amber with a thick and rather persistent pale buff head. Aroma presents fruity and hoppy tones, not strong but inviting. Flavor is hoppy and a little fruity, fair to middlin though a decent brew. Mouthfeel features so-so body and not much fizz. If you have to avoid gluten, this is palatable if not noteworthy.
