Omission IPA is a bright, hop forward Northwest Style IPA produced in the spirit of the original IPAs shipped from the UK to India in the late 1800s. The heavy-handed use of Cascade and Summit hops give it notable pine, citrus, and grapefruit aromas and flavors. The bitterness is what you would expect of a NW IPA but this beer is balanced and smooth due to the perfect level of malt sweetness. The finish is crisp, clean, and refreshing its a true IPA lovers IPA.

First and foremost this is not a Gluten Free beer. It is extracted which does not make it a Gluten Free beer. Coeliacs will still have health issues in drinking this beer as they will with all extracted gluten beers. As a lager it is very average and lacks flavour of any sort.

Clear rich golden hue with a thin rocky and sticky white head. Crisp floral delightfulness and slightly resinous hops on the nose and a slight orange pithy earthiness with a bit of pale biscuit malt on the background. Crisp bright bitterness on the flavor thats a little piney and floral, semidry and bready golden pale malty on the finish. Its overall fine, doesnt taste like is a gluten-free beer, so thats cool, but I wouldnt say its great or memorable. But clean and well made nonetheless.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of bread, lemon zest and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, pine, earthiness and a hint of citrus with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottle. Nice and round. Not as bitter as other IPAs and so disappoints a little bit. The aftertaste is better. But its not bad. More aromatic than most IPAs.

teamsale (272) - Washington, USA - OCT 31, 2016
Bottle pours a fairly clear yellow with a one finger white head and good lacing. Aroma is a very familiar northwest hop scent of primarily pine, citrus, sauteed mushrooms, and grapefruit. Flavor is a not so sweet citrus, maybe a touch on the boring side but not bad at all for gluten free. The bitterness is a nice medium and the aftertaste is a gently fading bitter citrus.

best of the Omission beers, but thats not saying much. An odd flavored bitterly hoppy ipa. Not terribly fresh, which might be part of the problem, but definitely a one timer.

Bottle. Hazy dark yellow with large foamy whitish head, floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter piney taste, thin body, long hoppy finish. A bit tasteless, but not really bad.

More boring than foul. Light citrus without much grain. Golden pour. Actually drinkable, which is something. Bottle at Summerfest.

Block (2643) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - MAY 21, 2016
Golden pour, white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, sweet. This beer is much better then some of their others. A good backbone, nice hops, wet finish. Pleasently surprised.

Bottle shared at the beach. Clear caramel golden with thin white head. Caramel, rye, honey, herbs. Light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, fat slick feel, light carbonation. Bit stale leathery finish.
