Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up lightly-toasty corn and pale malts with light, dank hop accents. The flavor found corn, honey, and odd grain (sorghum?) with sharp lemon zest and odd bitterness around.. finished lemony and quasi-refreshing. Light-bodied with an ok flow through the palate.

Ernest (7477) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cereal), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with light notes of DMS and soap. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. I really dreaded trying this because...well...for one, its Widmer. Secondly, its a gluten-free beer, and gluten-free beers almost always suck. Hard. But just as Redbridge is surprisingly one of the more passable GF examples (from an even worse brewery), this beer is better than the bulk of its brethren. Its toasty, its hoppy, its flaws are minor, and its...believe it or not...drinkable. In fact, if you didnt tell me it was GF, I probably wouldnt even know. No, its not going to compete with good lagers out there...this is basically on the level of Full Sail Session Lager or something like that, but still...good grief, you can do a LOT, LOT worse in this field (Sprecher Shakparo, anyone???). If I had to go GF, I would have no problem having one of these once in awhile (when I wasnt drinking wine instead). The Omission website says these brews may contain gluten, since they *are* brewed with barley and such. So...ummm....hmmm.

larsga (7375) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2014
Small white head. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Light fruity sugary aroma with floral notes. Dry floral resiny taste with fruity grainy notes. Thin-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry grainy mealy aftertaste with wooden notes. Well, they didnt leave much in this one, so must have omitted quite a lot. Boring (0.33l bottle, CC Mat, Lillehammer.)

FROTHINGSLOSH (7162) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2016
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with a medium sized fluffy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sour, tangy, macro lager with citrus and perfume underneath. The flavor was grainy, citric and bitter with floral and herbal hops and an off presence. Long finish. Medium body. Not good.

5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Bottle:   Straw in color, rather clear, thin to moderate white head, sudsy, little lacing.   Macro beer aroma, corny, rice, the stuff I taste when I vomit out my nose.   Sweet grassy/grainy malt forward nose.   Very much a grassy/straw/hay like beer.   Its a clean beer alright, straw and hay/grass on the finish.   If I had a gluten issue, this would be a decent brew to drink, unoffensive, not too bold in any one direction.   However, if I had to drink this more than a few times I would be livid!

Flaske 0,33l fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Lys gylden. Lavt skum som flater fort ut. Litt lacing. Svart fruktig aroma. Smaken det samme. Litt banan. Godt balansert. Svakt syrlig ettersmak.

Marduk (6765) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 19, 2014
355ml bottle, thanks FatPhil. Clear pale yellow color. Tiny ring shape head, disappears. Malts, honey, watery aroma. Very mild hops, watery, sweetish taste. Typical macrolager. Taste is not offensive, but very boring and dull.
