12 oz bottle at Widmer sponsored Celiac Awareness event & launch. Pours a basic lager color. Just a few bubbles streaming in the glass, but a bubbly foam head on top. A decent malt smell with no offsetting notes. Taste is similarly rounded and pretty malty. Im catching a very slight edge of DMS, but just a slight one. Fuller even than most mass-marketed lagers. Maybe it could use a slightly hoppy bite at the end so we know we;ve had one.

BB021117. Poured a crystal clear pale amber with a one-finger bright white foamy head that retained OK but laced poorly. Carbonation high, lively and coarse. Aroma of pale malt and slightly sweet citrus. Taste is malty with slight grain and moderate sweetness. Light body, bordering on watery. Crisp and smooth with a bit of an unpleasant tart finish.

270217.Bottle from Dan Murphys. Just not feeling it with this beer. Initially looks very clear when poured into the glass. White head and dull lemon rind colour. The flavour is okay and a bit basic. Thin bodied with a light finish.

Bottle. Golden and clear with no head. Cardboard like flavour which was far from present. My first from this brewery and definitely not a good start.

Bottle from M&S, Metrocentre, Gateshead. Straw coloured with a thin white head. It has a sweet fruity, malty, lemon and grassy flavour followed by a sweet gentle floral fruity finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow with small foamy whitish head, some lacing, faint haylike aroma, high carbonation, crisp taste, thin watery body, abrupt finish. Not too bad I must confess.

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Pale malty nose, a hint of citrus, weak stone fruit note. Very lightly hazy gold straw color. Light grain, small bit of grass, wet paper, a little citrus. Thin body. A bit bland all around, even for a lager. Okay.

Quite normal and still do not get what is it about the label. Thin and good with some pizza at the same time.

355ml bottle from Master of Malt. Pale yellow golden colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and doughy malt aroma. Taste is malty & grainy, straw, with grassy bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry grassy bitter finish. Quite OK.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 5/5/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear pale straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast notes present. Moderate dryness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a very good Pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Kullankeltainen kirkas olut melko pienell ja nopeasti katoavalla vaahdolla. Tuoksu maltainen ja lagerille eptyypillisesti kivasti hedelmisell ja sitruksisella otteella hystetty. Maku maltainen ja ruohoinen. Tuoksun hedelmisyys jatkuu kivasti mys makuun nostaen kokonaisuuden peruslagerien ylpuolelle. Katkera jlkimaku. Melko kevyt suutuntuma, hiilihappoja aika kevyesti. Oikein raikas ja kivasti erilainen, hieman pils-suuntaan kurottava lager.
