This is a good APA, but I don’t agree with the commercial description its not bold and hoppy it dose have good malty flavor not hoppy and bitter. BillWyce (1092) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2015
Bottle at Square 1682 in Philadelphia. Poured clear golden-amber with a 1-finger white head. Mild aroma of grapefruit with a touch of yeast. Medium body, lightly oily, with a dry finish. Flavor of citrus with a bit of a biscuit note. sonotono (266) - torino, ITALY - AUG 20, 2015
Colore ambrato chiaro, schiuma scarsa.
Profumo floreale, leggermente citrico, ma in generale non intenso.
Poco frizzante, da stile, sapore amaro, cereali, malto e amaro finale ma non deciso. Non lascia il segno. Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - AUG 11, 2015
Bottle. Taste is corn, grain, hops, malt, citrus, wood and pine. Decent, session type of a beer. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - AUG 8, 2015
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours an orange amber color with a tiny head of white foam. The head fades relatively quickly leaving just a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a caramel smell mixed with a bit of a bready aroma. Along with these smells comes some lighter notes of a yeast and a bit of molasses.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and caramel sweetened taste. As the taste moves forward more and more bready and grainy tastse meet the tongue along with a little bit of a hay and grassy flavor. With a little bit of a fruit flavor of a citrus and pear, one is left with a lightly hopped and moderately malty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average in thickness with a carbonation level that is a bit on the lower side. For the style the feel is rather decent, although a little bit more carbonation may have been slightly better for the style overall.
Overall – A lighter hopped but rather tasty brew overall. Now I am not adverse to gluten, so its really not one I would likely frequent when given the option of other pales. If you are gluten sensitive though this may be a beer that is right up your alley.

Pours a light amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of earth tones and almost no hops. Flavor is the same. Only the earth tones and not much else. pkbites (950) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 7, 2015
Normally glutton free beers suck. But this isn’t half bad. Darker amber pour, with creamy whiteish head. Malty, bready nose. Ample hoppiness. Higher alcohol content not detected. Bottle @ Chillies Chicago O’Hare airport. beer_rookie (581) - Arkansas, USA - JUL 1, 2015
Pours a honey gold color. Thick and creamy head. Nice lacing. It’s a good start to a mysterious beer.bubbleflubber (2228) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - JUN 21, 2015
Smells like an IPA. In fact, it may even smell more like a brown ale. It smells great. I smell caramel and/or toffee. I also smell some hops.
Tastes pretty good. Better than a lot of beers I’ve had. Tastes like an IPA but there’s a lightness to it, but it’s also sort of rich in flavor. I’m supposed to smell the floral, but I taste it more so. I taste some pine, and some caramel.
Mouthfeel is sort of weird. While it tastes good and all, it’s just not quite as heavy as an IPA. It’s somewhat watery. It’s very dry, and it finishes bitter. It’s true to an IPA in the finish, but there’s just something about it.
Overall, I’m extremely surprised by this. I was expecting a whole lot less. It’s actually delicious. I would certainly buy this again. If it’s gluten-free you’re looking for, this would be amazing!! I still consider this amazing. At 5.8% it’s pretty good for an IPA, and pretty drinkable. Try it!!
Pours a perfect tea hue into the glass, with a fine, steady eggshell head that leaves window-wash lacing. Biscuits, caramel and a hint of citrus to the nose. Flavors of cereal and Cascade hops leave the mouthfeel a bit hollow, with a twinge of citrus every now and again. Hop-forward, yes, but missing some of the malt profile that balances out a top-tier APA. I will give this some credit, though. After doing mulch work in the hot sun on a summer afternoon, this lively-palated jigger is definitely a thirst quencher. Without being too heavy, it never crosses over to being a thin, watery brew. So there’s kudos to that, for sure.
