Pours a hazy copper, not much head. Aroma: light all around... cereal, almost no hops, dough, maybe vanilla, maybe raisin. Very ballanced taste. Unremarkable palate. Okay...

Kobberfarvet og lettere ufiltreret APA aka American Pale Ale med større offwhite skumtop, som langsomt svinder til først snelandskab og dernæst et par mm tykkelse. Let perlende i glasset. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 35,5cl. Pours warm golden, towards amber with medium, settles one-finger off-white head. Malty, fruity aroma. Floral and caramel. Light bready with more sweetish aroma and flavour as it warms. Flavour caramel, fruity malty with light, subtle toffee and biscuit in the middle. Perhaps, sadly a little dry, cardboard towards the end. Not very hoppy. Quite okay alright. Not quite as cardboardy as other glutenfree’s out there.

12 oz. bottle pours a slightly hazy golden/amber with moderate off-white head and slight lacing. Aroma is not strong, but has bready malts, floral hops, and something like cardboard. Taste is bitter but not bitter enough to make me notice. Body is light to medium with a creamy mouthfeel and not much carbonation. I have no reason to try this one again.

Bottle. 5.8%. Best before 04.10.17. Pours a slightly hazy golden/amber, with an off-white/yellowish head. Good lacing. Sweetish, floral, citrusy and spicy hop aroma with a light malt note in the background and a hint of a cardboard overtone. Orange peel? as it warms. Flavour is fruity hops on a malty background. Hint of cardboard. Light metallic note as it warms. Mild to medium bitter finish, lingering, along with a grassy hop note followed by an apple note. Light milky note as it warms. Overall okay; while it does have some hints of it, it’s nowhere near as ’cardboardy’ as other gluten free beers I’ve tried. 13.06.17.

355mL bottle from Bucket Boys. BB 11.11.17 Pale copper body, small white head. Malty sort of nose - toffee, biscuit, subtle floral hop. Stodgy body, carbonation somewhat low. Once again, malt sort of drives the body - toasted bread crust, browned caramel, touch of diacetyl, hops take a backseat despite the premise of hops - cooked citrus I guess - feels a bit oxidised overall, odd bitterness. Probably one of the better gluten free/reduced beers I’ve come across - not nearly hoppy enough though.

330ml bottle at 5.8% Las Vegas airport. Enjoyable for a gluten free beer. Little head, pours clear.

This is gluten free so I expect it to be a little off from what we are all used too. Unlike its brother, the lager, it is surprisingly similar to the normal class of beers with gluten. Heavy on the bittering hops but you get used to it pretty quickly. This is now my normal nightly beer as I watch my surger intake. I still have craft brew nights occasionally. Just don’t get the lager!
