Pour on tap at Busters on 28th, hazy golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big coriander, clove, lemon zest, some slight spicy, peppery notes into a bit of cinnamon, some caramel, and bready notes. Taste was dominated by spice, lemon, and lots of pepper, with nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, some slight fruit, finishing with caramel, toffee, and more spice. aumentm (750) - North Carolina, USA - APR 24, 2015
This is the way it is supposed to be. Smooth, well balanced and complex with heavy hops and heavy malts. Thank you ommegang. rdixon77 (3106) - Georgia, USA - APR 12, 2015
Old rating. Copper colored. Raisins, caramel, esters, orange peel, coriander. A bit syrupy but nice for winter. BillWyce (1116) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2015
Pours hazy copper-amber color with a creamy, 2-finger tan head. Nutty malt aroma, with notes of coriander, citrus, and a touch of yeast. Full body with a mild syrupy thickness. A brief note of astringency to the finish. Flavor of nutty malt with a lingering spice note at the back. A mild note of citrus underneath. Still pretty "young", but good. Have a feeling it’ll improve with age. solidfunk (9734) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAR 22, 2015
Pretty light tasting for style and considering alcohol percentage, which is well hidden. Pours dark amber with God head and lacing. Light raisins. Some florals. Light sweet finish. Tap at rustico.

Bottle. Packaged 9/11/14. Appearance: Light brown and clear with reddish/orange hue. Minimal cream colored foam cap.
Aroma: Orange peel, coriander, and Belgian fruity esters (apple). Hint of maltiness.
Taste: Rich caramel malt sweetness with intense spice and orange peel. Noticeable pear fruitiness and nutmeg like spice. Like a spiced quad. Just enough bitterness to balance the intense malt and spice flavors.
Mouthfeel: Medium body and moderately high carbonation with noticeable alcohol warmth.
Finish: Finishes malty with lingering spice, pear, and orange peel.
Overall: A really well done spiced quad. Orange peel, spices, and Belgian esters combine perfectly commonmac (1369) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 21, 2015
12 oz bottle purchased at Haskells for March Madness. Consumed with commomshawn and rosskyle. Very appealing amber/plum color with a slight off white head. Aroma of dark fruit, sweetness, almost berries, and vanilla. Taste is in the realm of a Belgian quad with the malty sugars taking center stage with a strong supporting cast of dark fruits and alcohol. Mouthfeel is full bodied. Plenty of spices. Really impressive beer that seems like a perfect representation of the style. Great beer! This is a special moment for me in my rating career...#500. I’d like to thank all the people who helped get me here and am humbled by the opportunity to continue onward on the rating journey. rosskyle (797) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 21, 2015
Dark red amber color. Sweet raisin odor. Carbonated texture. Sweet raisin flavor that lingers.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy amber brown, full beige head cover, sheets of lace. Aroma of caramel and spices. Taste is full-bodied toffee and malt that adds spice on the swallow, then moves to a finish where alcohol obliterates everything else. Tastes very strong, the warm staying in the throat long after the finish. Seems almost too much for a beer. vtafro (7451) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Bottle. Brown pou with tan head. Sweet Belgian candi, spices and dark fruit aromas. Dark malts, some sweet tones, tons of spice flavors.
