COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Baseball and beer. Few things are more ingrained in America’s psyche than baseball and beer. The histories of both are laden with traditions and transcendence. Rascals and radicals. Celebration and shared experience. Treasured summertime moments with sun on our faces and a beer in our hands. The timeless game defines our past and guides our future.

Lightly golden-straw hue with a lasting thick, white head. Aromas of sweet malt, floral with slight citrus are followed by delicate herbal notes. Faintly sweet giving way to mellow, lightly floral hop flavor and notes of banana and pears from our signature house yeast. Nicely balanced with a clean herbal-hopped finish makes this an enjoyably, quaffable ale.

If you’ve had a lot of Ommegang beers, you’ve basically had this beer, since it tastes exactly like their house yeast with slight hints of fruitiness. But it’s mostly all yeast flavor, which is fine because the Ommegang yeast is quite good for these light sipper summer beers.

Bottle. Hazy straw pour with off-white head, pretty fluffy head. Nose was hops, tropical citrus, yeast. Came off like a hoppier Belgian Single.

Clear, golden pour with a white head. The aroma has slight citrus notes. It has a medium body with oily texture and average carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a quick finish.

Bottle at BrewMaster’s Craft Beer Festival. Pours a clear orange with medium off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is yeast, spice, wheat, citrus. Medium body, yeast, clove, banana, light finish, very nice.

[backlog] 02-09-15 / bottle at home. Gift from family. Well balanced and complex belgian ale. Sweet malt base with floral herbal hops. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3.5/5

on tap @ Party Town (Friday Night Flights) / Florence KY --- Aroma of malt. Hazy bright golden amber, bubbly white head that sticks around, thick lace bands. Taste is slightly bitter malt that bursts through medium carbonation to a big toffee that slowly returns to bitter in a long finish. Different and quite good. I will have it again.

12 oz - Frothy, fizzy mouthfeel, funky Belgian kick at the end. I can see this working.

Botle from Bradley Food and Beverage. Bold orange body with medium head. Nose is spicy, grainy, floral, of oranges and hops. Taste is also fruity of peaches and hops and good stuff. Clean, smooth texture. Well done.

Draft. Pours a thin, poorly retained, off white head, over a cloudy light gold (SRM 4) body......nose is toasted malts, with bread biscuit note, light pear, apple esters......taste is light citrus bitterness, harsh off notes....mouth feel, light of medium body, no alcohol. This beer is quite off tasting, with none of the esters, floral notes that have been previously noted. Perhaps storage was poorly done. BJCP 6/2/10/4/5

Hazy orange gold big fluffy head . aroma skunked grassy hops. Tastes yeasty, mild. Slight bitter on end. Creamy yet watery palate. Bottom line: a very quaffable brew provided you hold your nose

Cloudy pineapple yellow color with a big head. Bright and sunny and refreshing. Spicy grains of paradise in the aroma. The Brett yeast goes up into the nasal cavity. Some white grapes (muscat). It’s got a "prickly" aroma and is quite effervescent in the nostrils. A touch of basement funk; slightly horsey. More muscat grape in the taste; the funk is subdued but comes up at the end. Just a hint of bubblegum. The feel is prickly and effervescent; good carbonation. The white grape, once you lock into it, is really prevalent. The Belgian-ness is a beautiful component to the blonde-ness.
