750ml Bottle. The pour was a hazy yellow amber with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that reduced to a thin film and medium collar, with very good sheets of lacing.
The aroma was of a light grain malt, floral hops and a musty Belgian yeast with notes of citrus (lemon), green apple, pears and a touch of coriander.
The taste was mildly sweet and very fruity from the get go and pretty much lasted throughout, progressing slightly with a bold yeast presence along with a spicy citrus taste towards the finish. The flavor hung around for a good long while following the swallow, with a nice citrus yeast taste that was complemented by a mellow alcohol warming sensation.
Mouthfeel was just past light in body with a mildly dry yet creamy texture and a carbonation that just went beyond mild in intensity.
Overall I have to say this brewer never seems to disappoint, and this is no exception. This beer is a fantastic representation of a Belgian Golden Ale with a great taste and superb drinkability...

Bouteille 750ml. Tap at Busters. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a clingy pure white head. Nose is yeast and citrus. Soft and delicate. Smooth palate with just a touch of hop edge. Wonderful Belgian ale.

Interesting beer that combines characteristics of both breweries. A fruity sweetness that has lots of apples combined with a heavy triple like flavor with some light skunky grassy flavors. Interesting and I liked it. agl108 (1278) - Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2013
On draft at Sharp Edge Brasserie. Poured hazy gold with white head. Flavor of lemony citrus, grass, cloves and a touch of pepper. Solid. Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 22, 2013
Poured from a large bottle into a trappist style glass to drink. The beer was a lighter gold color with a slight hazy-sediment component, but mostly clear, with a good-sized foamy white head that had average retention, but very good cling and lacing. Its aroma had a lively fruity and floral blend with notes of grapes and apple, along with a lighter earthy-grainy mix, and a bit of yeast. The taste was quite good with a predominantly sweet fruit blend with fruity flavors, including apple, and a light citrus background, with a subtle grainy bitter finish. It had a lighter, fluffy, smoother body with a somewhat wet mouthfeel, and medium carbonation and fizz; the fairly high alcohol content was indiscernible. fishonmyplane (505) - Newington, Connecticut, USA - MAY 22, 2014
I found this to be more full-bodied than Duvel, with more yeast, less hops and citrus, and overall not quite as refreshing. Still a nice offering. mikesaum (711) - Newark, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Sample at beverage source, pours golden with fluffy white head. Aroma is spicy belgian yeast, very floral hops. Taste is much the same, very floral and bitter hops, belgian spice, dry finish, haven’t had duvel so I can’t rally compare, but this isn’t bad.
