Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.

Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.

Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

DATE: OCCASION: binging on Game of Thrones the last few nights, it’s time for Naked and Afraid XL--and this beer... GLASSWARE: Chimay 150th chalice... thick, hazy orange amber body... a central eruption of bubbles says something is alive and at work here... the head is a thing of beauty--white-as-Ghost’s fur, thick as Tormund’s beard, and clinging as the Prince of the Eyre... citric orange and pineapple play with cracker malts... apple and pear suggest a crisp spiciness and a natural sweetness... the palate is the epitome of drinkability, with a frothy head greeting each sip and a lingering sweetness at each finish... a striking balance between dryness and liveliness... as to the flavor, besides the aforementioned aromas, slight nuttiness and vanilla, with a winelike sweetness--such a complex contrast, and yet, so drinkable... as biased as I am--towards the brewery and the novels/shows--there’s no empirical data denying this beer’s quality, and although it is a one-off, I will not deny seeking this our again if I have the chance...

Bomber into a tulip. Pours a hazy light yellow, with a large white head. Nose is Belgian yeast-bananas, cloves, and citrus. Taste follows, with bread and fruit notes dominating. Well-balanced.

Blonde bodied with a luscious creamy off-white head. Toasty, slightly burn grain and spicy peppery bouquet. Bready and yeasty body with a prominent white-peppercorn flavor. Rather thin and uncomplex. Ok.

Dogbrick (14288) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 10, 2016
Sample during at Daily Growler Powell during the "5th Friday $5 Fest" on 04/29/2016. Hazy orange-amber color with a medium thick ivory white head that recedes gradually. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of fruity yeast, malt and herbal hops. The finish is herbal and citrusy with a yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

Beer pours a hazed dark gold with orange hues and a huge white long lasting head. Aroma is yeast, spices, grains and citrus. Mouthfeel is weak to meadium bodied with average carbonation. Was hoping for something less thin. The flavour is yeast, citrus, and the spices really come through as an herbal addition to the grains.
