I didn’t expect this beer to be so hoppy. It’s good.
Although I was hoping it was made from The Callezee’s bathwater... cheap (5855) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2013
On tap at the house de 1000. should be called house de 2000. Nice eye candy. big bubbly head.on a very light looking beer, quite clear and barely any color. sweet mild perfume aroma, yum. very light in taste too. it is so well behaved and civilized. not too much co2 but this stuff was pleasant all round. good experience/. mcberko (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
750mL bottle, pours a hazy blond with a medium white head. Aroma is very subtle, full of Belgian yeast and dry crackery malt. Flavour is very bland, with not much of anything - a little Belgian yeast, and a little crackery malts. Very easy drinking, but without much character. Decent stuff, but nothing special. Have never seen the show but I want to! Cork popped with a big bang! Golden body with a massive white crown floating on top, probably will get cloudy on the second pour. Aroma is very yeasty, big spice, a musty lemon, maybe hay. Aroma has power. Taste almost has a hopy harshness but its cloaked with big malty yeast bomb. So very smooth. Lemon in the finish, peppery spice, do I hit bubble gum? maybe? Crisp and lively mouth feel. Solid beer! nearbeer (5413) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 14, 2013
750 ml. Hazy amber-golden with a huge topping of meringue. Aroma of spicy honeycomb, resiny citrus peel and toast. Tastes of citrus, honey, resin, toasted walnut, pith and dry grass. Light-medium body is nearly too fizzy and well to the dry side.

right from tap this was... a good American style pale ale with grapefruit citrus a bit of harshness, some sweetness and a moderate sudsy body. A biscuit type malt near the finish the brew shortly developed a bit of a Belgian character with light Banana and clove. Light yeast settled in and brew seemed to take on a bit of an astringent toothpaste like quality. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 10, 2013
750mL bottle. Poured slightly cloudy medium golden with a creamy, sticky, well-retained white head. The aroma picked up sweeter banana, cloves, and lemon zest over soft biscuit and pale malts.. apricot and other lighter-skinned fruits showed with warmth.. spicy and very welcoming. The flavor found sweet pale and bready malts at the core, with lemon zest, grains of paradise, cloves, and peppery notes around.. finished spicy with grains of paradise leading. Medium-bodied with a whole lot of carbonation on the palate.. spicy and well-balanced.. nice one! BrodyR (4) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 9, 2013 does not count
Aroma: Definitely pleasant, a bit fruity and spicy.
Appearance: Pale blonde, like those asshole Lannister’s (except Tyrion).
Taste: Fairly light to medium in flavour and refreshing with a bit of that fusty/spiciness a solid blond ale.
Palate: Pretty crisp and well carbonated. Medium body with a lasting finish.
All in all a fine easy drinking brew that still has some good flavour. I would’t expect anything less than awesome tho from Ommegang & Game of Thrones. I’d buy a lot more bottles if they weren’t so rare and increasingly expensive!

Bottled. Golden pour and big white head. Yeast sweetness and very lite with hops finish. Really well balanced and despite the license tie in a great beer philipmeese (84) - Rowayton, Connecticut, USA - JUN 9, 2013
750ml bottle. Pours hazy orange with the insane Belgian head (3" on a careful pour), white with very small bubbles. Aroma a piquant high flowery lemon, typical Saison. Flavor an even and light salt balanced against a light body. Refreshing, well-behaved, plenty of depth, complexity and character. A sophisticated, playful and enjoyable Saison style beer.
