COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.

Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.

Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

Slightly fruit and spicy with a Belgian yeast finish. Hops were tropical and citrus. Nice dirty golden color with a good head. Not heavy but fills the mouth.

750ml corked bottle, 2015 release. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with fruity esters as well as some citrus notes. Pours clear golden colored with one finger of soapy, white head with excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with fruity Belgian yeast flavors. Finishes smooth with spicy yeast and some citrus. Pretty good, but unfortunately nothing remarkable.

750ml murky deep gold body with a tight foamy bright white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, bubble gum, dry citrus rind, herbal. Flavor is herbal, yeast, bubble gum, hit of old menthol, grains. Body is rather full with strong carbonation and a lingering grainy aftertaste.

Pours a light gold color with a fizzy white head. The aroma was a rather light fruit sent. The flavor is a fizzy banana funk flavor. The body was thin with a funky aftertaste. Overall not a good beer.

cloudy, light amber color with a thick, white head; great, spicy, citrusy, Belgian yeast aroma; a great, spicy blonde ale; Belgian yeast and lots of spice notes - corriander, pepper, citrus; tastes more like a saison than a blonde; an excellent bee

Listed as a blonde ale on the bottle, far from the assembly line of boring blond craft beers. Great spicy belgian sweetness. Still has a basic grainy body but tons of flavor.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2015 Pours a light slightly cloudy copper, with a foamy white head that settles to a soapy lacing. Aroma is of very faint Belgium yeast and bubblegum. Very lively carbonation....too lively? Some peppery spiceness hits the tongue with the carbonation. I am getting some sourness in this - which does not seem correct. I am a very big fan of this brewery, but this seems like a total miss to me. Not understanding the praise for this one. RERATE: Unsure if I had a bad bottle, or a not properly cleaned glass - but this deserves a re-rate over my initial 2.9 rating. Still slightly over-carbonated for my liking. The sourness that was coming on strong before is not there. There is a touch of citrus - lemon? Some peppery spiciness, and light yeast. The sourness replaced with a light sweetness. Still not a favorite from this brewery, and will probably not ever get again - but it is a decent light Belgium ale.

Approximately 5 oz. from a 750 mL bottle. Consumed on 12-16-15. Pours a cloudy, dark gold to bronze with a moderate to large amount of cream to beige-colored head. Strong, yeasty, floral, tart aroma. Bubblegum scent. Very nice, Belgian ale smell. Lightly tart, dry taste. A bit of pepper spiciness. Pleasant but not memorable flavor. Chalk in the finish and aftertaste; lightly astringent aftertaste. Medium body. Smooth and frothy in the palate, but the palate effects are unremarkable. Gets off to a good start, but ends up underwhelming. Enjoyable beer but not a notably good one.

A good blonde belgian. Has a nice floral taste and finish. Looks great in the glass.
