Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.

Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.

Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

bomber - nose is herbal, caramel, grass, body odor, the Ommegang funk, and wildflowers. reminds me of a Belgian Tripel by the nose. Sip emphasizes the floral aspect. Better than I expected.

Pours hazy orange with a large white head. Smells peppery and fruity. Taste is malty sweet with peppery notes and subtle citrus. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and lively mouth-carbonation, Ommegang Game of Thrones #1 - Iron Throne Ale finishes with a soft citrus twinge.

Golden color with a decent white head and fruity aroma. Taste is very fruity with a hint of spice at the end. Normally a brew like this is too light for me but I must say I really liked it and think it night be the best of this series.

Tap at Busters. Nice beer. Very slightly hazy golden pour with a smaller clingy white head. Fruity esters, some citrus bite, green banana, soft palate with a bit of carbonation bite. Yum.

coldbrewky (1730) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - JAN 11, 2016
Lannister gold in the glass. Body is spice and mystery from Ashai. The Maesters toiled long in their workshops to bring the ingredients to life. Even the uptight folks in the Vale of Arryn would agree that this is the elixir of the kingdom. Would go well with a bowl of brown.

kevinator (2176) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Slightly fruit and spicy with a Belgian yeast finish. Hops were tropical and citrus. Nice dirty golden color with a good head. Not heavy but fills the mouth.

750ml corked bottle, 2015 release. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with fruity esters as well as some citrus notes. Pours clear golden colored with one finger of soapy, white head with excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with fruity Belgian yeast flavors. Finishes smooth with spicy yeast and some citrus. Pretty good, but unfortunately nothing remarkable.

dmac (6198) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JAN 1, 2016
750ml murky deep gold body with a tight foamy bright white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, bubble gum, dry citrus rind, herbal. Flavor is herbal, yeast, bubble gum, hit of old menthol, grains. Body is rather full with strong carbonation and a lingering grainy aftertaste.

grimreaperguru (263) - santee, California, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Pours a light gold color with a fizzy white head. The aroma was a rather light fruit sent. The flavor is a fizzy banana funk flavor. The body was thin with a funky aftertaste. Overall not a good beer.

BeerdedDave (1662) - Beckley, USA - DEC 29, 2015
cloudy, light amber color with a thick, white head; great, spicy, citrusy, Belgian yeast aroma; a great, spicy blonde ale; Belgian yeast and lots of spice notes - corriander, pepper, citrus; tastes more like a saison than a blonde; an excellent bee
