Hazy orange in the glass. Malt, cereal, nuts and barnyard aromas. In the mouth coarse carbonation, alcohol, banana, butterscotch and a cheesy finish. A little funky for me. Hiccups right off the bat. dysenteri (318) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2017
Bottle from Beergium. Pours semiclear cloudy yellow with white head. Banana, spices, orange, bread, yeast. Mediumfull body, floral taste. Medium sweet, creamy texture and pretty livley carbonation. Pretty nice one, more like a tripel imo. HuskerTan (2168) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - MAR 5, 2017
A- Spices, oranges, gum.
A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Orange juice, spice.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish.
O- Tasty stuff. Loaded with juicy oranges and a balance of spice. Almost like drinking a mulled orange juice. SONOFWODEN (56) - New York, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Seriously good. I cannot figure out which I like more -- Ommegang’s Hennepin Saison or Gnomegang. Both are delicious. I get medium sweetness from fruit, herbs, some yeast, and a light kick at the end from hops. Like the Saison, a great aroma and easy to drink. Can’t keep my nose out of the glass. maekchu (3847) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 1, 2017
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Nose of wheat, Belgian yeast, and light spice. Medium gold/amber color, thin head, and sticky slow-dropping lace. Fairly sweet malty initial, candi sugar, mild banana, sweet fruit (apples), and mild back-end bitterness. Very pleasant. Somewhat like Westmalle Tripel. Alcohol is is disguised - does not seem to be 9.5% at all.

Bottle. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with notes of banana and clove. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin white head that has decent retention and good lacing. Starts with spicy clove and banana sweetness. Finishes smooth with a good spicy bite from the Belgian yeast. Nice Belgian blonde. Tranquillity (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 20, 2016
Draft. Hazy yellow body, small white head. The aroma is citrusy, the body is strong and the flavor profile complex with cinnamon, cardamom, citrus and grapefruit. 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 11, 2016
12oz blue label (best by 2018?? the stamp is difficult to read) pours mostly clear sparkling gold with a short but sticky head. Aroma hops manifest as apricot nectar and dried herbs, while yeast is estery in the way of banana and phenolic in the way of salt, granite, minerals. Pale malt resembles toasted cereals and baked crackers. In the mouth it’s medium-full bodied with velvet-soft carbonation, medium sweetness and light bitterness. Pretty fun yeast-driven strong Belgian golden ale here from Ommegang, cleanly fermented and properly bottle-conditioned. PhillyCraft (7074) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Backlog, Bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with average sized top. Smell is belgian fruit, yeast, grain, and bananas. Flavor is similar with belgian candy sugar, spices, wood, and other misc fruits. body was medium to fuller. Pretty sweet aftertaste. BlackBeerPG (621) - Darien, Illinois, USA - OCT 17, 2016
Taste: Nice crisp, bready, spiced, tangy, banana notes. Complex yeast bread nose. Gold, mostly clear, with a big foamy white head and sticky lace. Medium almost filling body. Nice kick to it, very much a Belgian Tripel then blonde.
