Holy crap I had no idea this was 9,5%. Hazy gold orange with head and lace. Citrus melon herbal grassy aroma. Toasted honey peachy fruity malts with herbal grassy bitterness that lingers a little with a touch of pleasant booziness. Excellent.

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours a hazy yellow with a huge foaming head. Great nose of bread and yeast. Mouthfeel is really thick and chewy. Same bread and yeast flavors. Really sweet and tasty. Delicious belgian.

This one is a doozy. It is big and alcoholic, sweet w/ tons of fruity yeast character. Though, it’s a really big beer, it lends itself to slow sipping and as such does not really come across as too much--though it’s damn close. There seems to be a touch of tartness and earthy bitterness in the finish which keeps the sweetness from cloying and the fruity character works well w/ it’s thick, juicy texture. This is honestly not something I’d drink regularly but it will definitely scratch that big Belgian itch for anyone who gets it.

Clear mellow gold with an ample white head. Coriander, light banana, some honey. Hint of raisins. Lightly bitter, plenty of sweetness. Alcohol is quite upfront, strong. Long finish, quite oily, lighter body. Very good.

12oz bottle into a super giant wine glass. Pours a shaded and hazy orange marmalade. Clean white head, loose creamy lacing. Aroma of apples, Belgian spice, coriander, grapefruit. Taste of melon, ripe citrus, orange peel, sour apples, tart and clean hop profile, crisp carbonation, lovely flow going down.

bottle @ Jungle Jims / Cincinnati OH --- Aroma of wheat and coriander. Nearly clear light amber color, persistent fluffy white head curtain of lace. Taste is malt and wheat that adds banana and spice as it moves through a crisply carbonated swallow. Minimal hops are needed to balance this big ale. Alcohol warmth is not here, but I feel the big alcohol push as I drink it. It actually would be better with a lower abv.

Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, with a nice hop bite to it. I expected more hop action.
