I love popping the cork on this one... The sweet spicy aroma blasts out of the bottle before I even pour it! The flavor follows suit. Just delicious!

Ar: Passionfruit, cantaloupe, and marmalade; dense fruit; some vanilla. Ap: Golden with lots of chunks, looks like a snow globe; small off-white head with poor retention, leaving a ring and a spotty hazy. T: Rosy alcohol and banana; medium sweetness; pear and black pepper; chalk and toasty dough; peppery hop flavor, a little leafy; high and fairly refined bitterness; finish is pear skins, chalk, and black pepper. P: Medium body with very high carbonation; lushly sparkling; very dry finish. O: The only knock to this beer is its appearance; the flavors, mouthfeel, and aroma are great--like seriously great.

12oz bottle into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass (just to make it feel at home): 13th Jan 2018 at my daughters in California. Cloudy dull orange body, white foam blanket on top, carbonation trails can be clearly seen rising through the misty brew replenishing the head from below. Yeasty, fruity nose, taste also yeasty and fruity, semi-sweet maltiness balances the hop mini-bitterness and fruit notes, good alcoholic bite to each fruity sip. Dangerously drinkable. Best beer of 2018 so far (yes, I know it's only the 13th Jan, but this is seriously good).

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is peppery estery yeast, bready malt, notes of ripe fruits, touch of banana and orange. A hint of alcohol in the finish. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is above medium. Some lovely yeast at work here, good balance and body, a very fine Belgian Strong Blonde.

Pours cloudy gold, with a dense off-white head. Decent amount of lace. Nose is estery yeast, melon, and grain. Flavor is well balanced. The sweetness of the grain has just enough taken off of it by the balancing hops. Well carbonated with a medium mouthfeel. Very tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12floz bottle, no date, $3.25 single, tulip glass. A frothy golden ale with the fresh scent of hay, and has an effervescent full body that is also ever so green and grainy. F airily sweet with a sugary alcohol finish, and the end result is an adequate beer.

TET (3282) - Kaarina, FINLAND - AUG 25, 2017
A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has generic europian fruitness, spicyness, some perries and coriander, balanced. Taste has fruitness, spicyness of light peppers, hint of banana. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Great balance which is the best part of this beer. Greatness of Chouffe’s yeast can be noticed.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2017 Great strong ale. Had this at the Happy Gnome in St. Paul, seemed appropriate.

Pear banana bread and spice in aroma Pours a murky blonde color with small white head Banana bread and yeasty spiciness in flavor Medium bodied with medium co2, lingering sweetness. Very enjoyable Belgian blonde. A bit on the sweet side ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
