Light in body, slightly lemony/citrus. Finishes with nice bittering hop notes.

Single from the LCBO with a best before APRIL 09 2015. Pours a hazy light-golden colour with a big white frothy-creamy head, great retention and some foamy lace. Spicy aromas with some grass, citrus notes and mild Belgian Ale yeast. Medium-full bodied, smooth, almost creamy. Wheat taste with the citrus and grassy hops all well-balanced. A nice Belgian Blonde Ale that goes down well with the American-twist on it, with stronger hops. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - JUL 11, 2014
(bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Golden pour with a puffy head. Mild yeast aroma with some lightly sweet spices. Couldn’t get much hops in the aroma. Flavor is yeasty and spicy at the start with a smooth and grainy middle and a lightly bitter aftertaste. Well crafted. robertjm (893) - Albany, California, USA - JUN 15, 2014
(trade with OLking) - Only makes sense that I finish out this season with a bottle from the very first release of this series. Absolutely amazed the huge size of the white frothy head that poured out of the bottle. Orangey body. Lots of carbonation in the middle. Light yeast aroma. Still has a flavor of fresh yeast! This is easily the best of the three releases IMHO so far. "To Ygrette! You’ll be missed." Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JUN 13, 2014
750, enjoyed this very much, lots of hops even though it sat for a while. The base beer is light and complex, fruity and belgiany. Not that american Belgian version.

(750mL bottle from LCBO, aged ~1yr) Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a huge, densely frothy Duvel-like white head, very persistent loads of lace. Aroma has doughy combination of pilsner/wheat malts and yeast, a bit of pale malt sweetness, lemon zest, grassy hops, light spicing from yeast/additions. Flavour reasonably typical for a Belgian golden with additions, a moderately sweet and slightly doughy malt core balanced with fairly mineral crispness, lemon peel shows on the palate to lend fruitiness, along with fairly subtle spice notes. Towards the finish, some herbal/grassy hop character, more spice apparent, while it dries a bit there is still a fair bit of lingering sweetness. Average mouthfeel for the style, medium but with a creamy effervescence to the carbonation. This is a decent blonde Belgian ale, not really anything to make it stand out but certainly not bad either. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 7, 2014
Delicious and sexy golden Belgian beer. Had on tap a couple of times at National 10th Ave. Big head and spice yeasty brew. Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Pretty cool beer i suppose. Fruity and spicy with a lot of doughy character. Sweetness and light grassy hops on the finish but doughy sweetness is a bit too dominant. halfonit (1389) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 24, 2014
On tap at Battleship. Pours a light golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is of malts, yeast, caramel, lactic, tootsie rolls, and a little hops are present. Flavor is the same. On the sweeter side. Leaves a sweeter malt and spice finish. It’s like a Belgian IPA in my opinion. burg326 (5565) - Florida, USA - APR 9, 2014
Poured a golden yellow color with aromas of grassy hops, light spicy yeast and some grains. Flavors followed suit with a light bread flavor thrown in.
