Hazy golden-yellow with a thick, creamy white head.
Aroma of light fruit, apple, apricot, grain.
Taste is sweet and light....fruit and grain malt.
Nice, subtle peppery spice, soft, light yeastiness.
Really good. RRistow12 (980) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2015
Tasted from bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with thick rocky head. Tons of lacing. Aroma is citrus, banana, cloves, Belgian yeast and spices. Taste is well balanced with flavors of banana, tropical fruit, Belgian yeast. Overall an excellent Belgian blond.

Crisp golden coloured body with a lot of haze and a thick dense two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of honey, grain, yeast, coriander seed, flowers and a good deal of rich malts. Medium-bodied; Strong rich flavour of apricots, yeast, grain, flowers and dry malt, all with a nice sweetness on the finish. Aftertaste is very dry with yeast the most noticeable flavour, but also showing some honey, grain and coriander seed along the way. Overall, a decent enough beer - not great, but good considering the price! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased earlier in the day on 17-October-2015 for US$16,99 for a two pack sampler with a glass purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia sampled during the day during my eldest daughter’s 3rd Birthday party, just steps from the store on 17-October-2015. klaing (282) - Florida, USA - OCT 25, 2015
Pours cloudy orange with effervescent head. Explosion of taste, tangerine, pineapple, clove but not over sweet with the clearest profile of noble hops to round it out. A treat.

750 mL bottle poured and split. Glad to see this beer back. I was worried I was going to be stuck with only trying them from #2 and beyond. Pours a cloudy golden color with an endless foam head. Spice heavy, belgian yeast aroma. Flavor is huge spice, subtle hops up front, dry citrus fruit, and a little grassy. Belgian yeast heavy finish. Love the spice character throughout this one. Fun, tasty beer for sure. Still haven’t seen the show. Or read the books. Or know anything about it, other than the fact that it must be cool if they have these beers named for it. A friend of beer is a friend of mine.

Pours clear golden with a very thick, slightly yellowish ivory head that hangs around for a bit. Aroma entices with butterscotch, fresh malt, banana, yeast, and a hint of pear. Pleasing flavor trots fresh malt, banana, pear, butterscotch and yeast notes plus just a whisper of hops across the palate. Firm body presents good fizz, and finish features pleasing fruity and malty tones. Play this game! gschrade (1107) - Collinsville, Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2015
I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste spice, citrus, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

Bottle of the re-release. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, musty hay, Brett, lemon, anise star, light fruits, coriander. Flavor of peppery spices with lots of light fruits, lemon, citrus, floral hops, with more peppery spices in the finish. Very complex, delicious, fruity/spicy golden blonde ale.

Fluffy rocky head over clear dark gold. Sweet fruity yeasty nose. Light melon. Palate is dry with bananas and nice effervescence. Decent but not my favorite Belgian style. sinfull (1846) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - OCT 18, 2015
Nice looking as every Ommegang beer. Aroma of spices , yeasts, fruits. Balanced malty sweetness in taste with dry , hoppy finish.
