Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop Uptown. Pours hazy amber-orange with a large beige head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum, cherry, peach. Flavor is thinner than I expected... tangy metal, yeasty, little fruit notes (unlike the nose), grasses. Meh. Had potential. tillmac62 (756) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - JUL 13, 2016
BBD 11/20/16. Clear copper pour when decanted. Massive world class head volume, lacing and retention.
Quite outstanding nose of light airy soft fruit (pear, apple, plum) with a touch of clove underneath over a base of grainy biscuit with a touch of caramel, subtly sweet.
Almost heavy medium body that is quite smooth and slightly slick. Superb carbonation / body balance with a mildly effervescent middle and a slightly prickly finish.
The flavor profile is outstanding. As it warms, clove becomes quite pronounced. Otherwise, it is subtly sweet with light fruit notes that shine from the slightly sweet middle on. True bitterness is functionally absent with a spicy mix (clove, nutmeg, pepper) taking its place. Underneath is a subtle grainy base that delivers just enough sweetness to balance but not obscure. The finish is a slow fade of spices that is subtly sweet.

This is a wonderful beer. Poured into a chalice. Appearance is reddish - orange with a nice fluffy cream head that remains throughout. Aroma is a bouquet of some spice, maybe cloves or coriander, and orange peel or fruit with some slightly malty tones as well. The taste is slightly spicy with a mild yeast and malt flavor. There is definitely some fruit in the taste as well, maybe orange but not overpowering. Very little alcohol in the aroma and taste but the feel is creamy and carbonated. Sweet with a slightly dry finish. Very easy to drink. Makes a great session beer. almostramos (1) - Kennesaw, Georgia, USA - MAY 18, 2016 does not count
Beautiful bottle, delicious fruity hints. Great to sip and explore flavors. Frothmeister (826) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2016
12oz bottle. Pours a murky rose-hued amber with some visible sediment, and an impressive creme coloured head. On the nose, fruity esters of apple, peach, banana with a faint earthy note. Taste-wise, dates, brown sugar, mineral notes that lead into a light iodine taste, raisin, banana, hard water, and some faint citrus. It VERY much makes me think of something from the Unibroue family, and I absolutely mean that as a compliment. Thumbs up.

Fruity and bitter is what I tasted. It was a little to bitter for me.

Bottle at trailer-- this was the first beer I rated on the Internet - that was 2003, on another website, this is a now rate, right here. Pours hazy amber with ivory foam. Belgian spice, caramel, herbal, house yeast aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Belgian spice, herbal, caramel flavors----tangy finish___not bad. 48FanInCali (851) - California, USA - FEB 14, 2016
I love this beer. I think of it as a Belgian Amber. Yeast profile is spot on for a Belgian and it has an underlying malt sweetness you rarely see. Slightly fruity as well. I can drink this all day. QcBeer (193) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 14, 2016
