3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass. Appearance is a golden amber color with a huge off-white head. Aroma is rich caramel malt and some dark fruits. Taste follows the nose, plus there is the distinct Belgian yeast which Ommegang loves to use. It has a surprisingly light taste, though. It also has a light, crisp feel. Not too bad.
An orange-brown beer with a quite big and blond head. Aroma has generic fruitness from belgian yeast, spicyness, earthy sourness, hint of caramel malts. Taste has fruitness, strong spicyness, some caramel. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Balanced and tasteful. coastercraze (13) - - JUN 6, 2017
This amber Ale has a nice yeasty spice along with the mellow fruity flavor of oranges.

Poured from bottle into tulip. Pours a clear orange/gold with a 3 finger slightly off-white head. Aroma bright spicy notes and some bready notes. Taste is crisp and lots of tingly carbonation on the palate. Pilsnertest (296) - SWEDEN - APR 17, 2017
Bottle at home. A metallic and a bit sharp and tart taste takes over this beer. Also some caramel, white bread and herbs.

Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma is mostly yeast forward with some brown sugar and earthy hops. Taste follows. Yeasty and sugary, not sweet though, a bit of earthy hop bitterness on the finish. Light body, dry and well carbonated. Overall it’s a good belgian ale but it doesn’t stand out with anything. voyageurmike (436) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 16, 2017
Sampler at Growler USA. Bready spice nose, butterscotch color. Dark fruit yeasty taste, malt finish.
