"this had the potential to be great, ended up just good. i dug the cherry aspect to the aroma and flavor, slightly tart, slightly sweet. the chocolate was underdone, possibly due to the fact that the belgian yeast was a little too overagressive. kinda thin palate. good flavor and aroma, coulda been great if it was a touch less overwhelmingly belgian"

This one is a strong contender in its class of chocolate ales. It is smooth and easy on the palate. Very nice.

From a 750 ml bottle. Pours dark brown, like a cola, with a thick, beige head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, chocolate and caramel. Flavors are milk chocolate, vanilla, with plum, raisin and licorice. Cocoa in the finish. Slight hop bite. Creamy mouthfeel, but not heavy or sticky. Malty and delicious. This is a really, really nice brew.
