Sampled on 2/16/07 on tap at Max’s 3rd Annual Belgian Beer Festival: Pours a murky orange brown with a full-lacing white head. Aroma of tart, slightly funky strawberry and lemon citrus with a touch of sweet caramel malt. Body starts with some slightly soapy bitter and mildly sweet tartness with some lightly oaky cherry complexity toward a drier, earthy tart finish with a touch of brett. A pretty good Flemish sour. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - FEB 26, 2007
Very hazey, light amber body with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is heavy with cherries, horseblanket, lemon, pineapple, lactic acid and light acetic acid. The flavor is moderately tart, lightly sweet, cherry, cider, vinegar and caramel. Medium/light body with lively carbonation, spritzy. Very nice. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - FEB 20, 2007
