Bottle. Not a particularly strong aroma, but raisin and cherry notes are there, but faint. Pours dark ruby red with large off-white head. Taste is raisin and sweet fruit to start with a tart cherry finish. Nice well balanced beer that's sweet at the beginning with a slightly sour on the finish.

Breezy4life (73) - - OCT 7, 2017
Color is deep, dark amber. Aroma is lightly toasted malt and yeast. Malt smooth with heavy alcohol on the finish. Medium mouthfeel. Beautiful Belgian. Balanced. DonGregorio (506) - POLAND - OCT 6, 2017

May 2016. Not my favorite quad. But easily drinkable. Alcohol is well hidden. Notes of rum soaked raisins and figs

Bottled 355ml. -from Beergium. Clear amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, brown sugar in the nose. Sweet malty, dried fruits, brown sugar, discreet touch of cherries and noticable alcohol with touch of dates. The finish is rather sweet. Nothing more nothing less than ok, expected much better one.

Pours dark amber with a 2-finger tan head and an aroma of malt & a hint of wood. Tastes of malt and chocolate with a sweet hint of banana from the yeast. It's medium bodied with lively carbonation and well hidden alcohol. It's a slightly sweet chocolate banana ale with a dry finish. There is also a hint of sour/bitter cherry. kryon (3797) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 9, 2017

Pours a nice reddish bronze with a fluffy head. Aroma of dark fruits, cherry, candied malts, and booze. Taste is initially astringent alcohol forward but gives way to very complex cherry, plum, caramel malty flavors. Better as it warms. Slick carbonated mouthfeel. This is definitely a winner KansaiBeerLvrs (5300) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 11, 2017
2015 bottle via Rakuten. In color it is a deep brown with a beige head that dissipated super fast but it also has some pretty ruby highlights. The aroma is candied plums and stone fruits with a hint of berries. Full bodied which I like but sharply carbonated which I don’t as I prefer a smoother mouthfeel. That being said it is very common for the style.

The taste is rich malty sweet caramel with big berry and stone fruit notes plus some sharp booziness. Paired with the Caramel Tokyo Banana the beer really shines with the caramel becoming a chocolatey toffee like flavor and the beer’s sharp edges getting softened. Really good but I’d say you really should pair it with food for maximum enjoyment.
