UPDATED: DEC 21, 2017 Large format bottle at home - pours a hazy cloudy golden color with a thin white head - distinct Brett scent in the nose - tastes a little funky in keeping with the wild yeast style - mild hop bitterness in the palette onceblind (10893) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 21, 2017
Potentially the 2013 vintage, but it’s hard to discern, so this was maybe a 4 year old bottle. Cloudy deep gold with a thin rocky white head. Big earthy bretty dry nose that’s got a little pineapple and troical tones and dusty Belgian esters. Flavor is the same. Really bretty and dry and tropical with a mellow pineapple like tartness and a dry barnhouse funk. Smooth and complex. zvikar (6575) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - NOV 5, 2016

Pours a golden mahogany brown with fluffy head. Aromas of fruit, funk, and some woody notes. Flavors of tart fruit, some woody character and some brett like finish.

Like Brigadier below (sweet profile pic btw) this has been lurking in my cellar (aka basement) for a couple of years. With the rarity of Ommegang in Ontario (we didn’t even get the questionable recent Game of Thrones release) it just didn’t want to crack it. But to the cottage it came for the Canada Day long weekend for its long overdue drinking. Here’s a purely Canadian suggestion to start. Do not drink this with the taste of poutine potato chips lingering in your mouth, it tastes horrible. But once I had my palate set to rights I’m getting sweet malts, mild peach and apricot and a toothless, flat funk that is almost bitterness that lingers into aftertaste with a touch of honey. It just doesn’t have the complexity I was hoping for but I always appreciated a great brewery’s tried, even if they don’t blow me away. kerenmk (5358) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 26, 2016

Sweet, fruity, yeasty, spicy with flavors of caramel, candy and alcohol, a bit over the top. Medium-bodied, smooth. rayaron (2073) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - FEB 27, 2016
Bottle sample at DSG’s 10K rating celebration tasting at Dancing Camel, Tel Aviv. Thanks beerandbeyond. Hazy orange with white head. Aroma of sweet candy, floral with some yeasts. Sweet flavor, alcoholic with notes of brett, sugary candy, herbs and some corn, slightly dry. Medium to full-bodied. Very nice. tomer (3853) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - FEB 24, 2016
At a tasting, thanks, small creamy slightly bubbly head, cloudy orange color, aroma of brett and corn, fruity candy sweetness with a nutty hint and a light bitterness, subdued brett character. Not too balanced or exciting.
